Same story as last week for Abergele under 11s as they were in need of some recruits from the under 10s but they didn’t allow it to affect their performance. Freddie Banning influential as always used his pace and step to keep Gele in the game, as did his aggressive tackling. It was try for try throughout the game as both teams showed good skills in attack and defence. Ethan Hall carried on his impressive runs forward from last week and had a much improved defensive game hitting players hard in the tackle. Tom Taylor and Cari Evans also showed no signs of performance drop as their aggressive tackling put the opposition down time and again. Danger man Dylan Williams was moved out from his usual scrum half position to add some options to the attack and it worked wonders as he found gaps to make good ground forward on several occasions. The under 10s that stepped up again didn’t look out of place as they produced some key performances to show signs of a good team building and its credit to them that the opposition coach was impressed that they matched his under 11s so well giving them a run for their money. All in all a good performance by the under 11s who are gradually improving and will be a force to be reckoned with once they gel and confidence grows.
