Gethin Jones - Club Captain  & Joshua Lloyd - Vice Captain 

We are very proud to announce that Gethin Jones has been selected as the Men's First Team Captain for the forthcoming season, with Josh Lloyd taking the reigns as his Vice Captain.

Gethin (Green in photo) has played for Abergele since 2008 and is renowned in North Wales rugby as one of the best flankers in the region. His selection by the Coaching Team is because of his consistent high quality performances, intelligent leadership on the field, outstanding fitness level and huge passion for the Club 🏉

Gethin will succeed outgoing Captain Chris Meyers who has given 4 years of unbelievable service, and is quite rightly regarded as a Club Legend. Anyone connected with the Club over recent years will know that Chris has been vital in keeping the Men's side alive and the recent resurgence to winning ways. Chris will now focus on being a senior player in the squad and developing the Club's youth setup as a WRU Rugby Hub Officer.
